I don't know how suitable ABS is for designer toy bits, but my university has a makerspace stocked with printers and plastic, and I'm considering making a few things in my free time. First on the list of priorities would be custom masks, followed by weapons, although I'm probably going to start with smaller pieces just to get the hang of it.

Have you modded your Squadts or other figures with 3D-printed parts? If so, how and why?

My local shop used to have a 3D printer but I don't know how to create the required file format in order to print something.

No idea myself; I only have some limited experience with CAD and vertical milling machines. Still, it won't cost me anything (for the moment), so now seems like the time to experiment
