Why would pay $60 and not get a Detolf for displaying your toys?
One a side note, walmart sells a similar (but not identical) shelving unit for about $40.
Also Ikea still has the birch veneer listed on their site, so you could order it online if you are desperate enough.

the detolfs stick out a little further than i like, plus i already have two beech veneer billy cases that i'm trying to match. i agree that it comes to a point that it doesn't make sense to keep buying toys if you don't have a place to display them. i've got a sweeeeet toy that's been riding around in my glove box for week.
