I think Jim is volunteering to do a Nitro Playge Doctor
Re: PLAYGE DOC TEST SHOT
THIS (PLAYGE) figure(s) need to be used in a stop animation short. They have such personalities,
and this DOC character tops it for me. So cool.

Funny think I've tried to make a stop motion animation with a Plague Doctor as character
Would be cool to use the Squadt on one, even that it has limited articulation

LOL
Something tells me he only entertains the dead and dying. I don't know how plague doctors did it back then; did they really think that could cure the victims, or were they just plain mad?
*Shivers* Awesome stuff, regardless. Can't wait. Oh Ferg, you are so good to us.

Re: PLAYGE DOC TEST SHOT
Plague doctors didn't really do anything to help the victims, it was all superstition and whatnot. It's more likely that they inadvertently helped spread the plague.

Definitely. The living dead themselves.

They used to constantly poke victims with their cane
So basically they're assholes dressed in spooky clothes

Psh, if I had a costume and cane like that, I'd take advantage of such allowances as well!

They didn't constantly poke them, they would poke them to see if they were alive, and use the cane to turn bodies over to help keep their own exposure to the plague as minimal as possible. The plague outfits actually caught on and doctors kept them as a kind of uniform for a couple of hundred years after the plague actually ended.

I've read they used for diagnosis from distance without touching the possible infected

It's awesome, that's what makes it a Squadt!
And yes it is a Squadt, which is a line of toys released by Jamungo/Playge in conjunction with ThreeZero. I assume the actual "Squadt" is the figure underneath, which is kinda a bean-shaped humanoid. Though most of the excitement around these figures is based on the great detail found in the helmets/masks, clothing and accessories.

Re: PLAYGE DOC TEST SHOT
I just saw this thread for the first time (been looking under Jamungo instead ).
Big question- When these Doc's drop, where will that be- at the squadt store,
jumungo dot com, someplace else?
If I miss this one I'll need a doctor cause I'll slit my wrist

1) If you read the threads in the forum you will find the info
2) Probably in 1-3 weeks
