Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
I like the monthly releases with maybe one or two chases thrown in like 1.1 & 1.2

Like the majority here, i'm not a big fan of the blind boxes, but at the same time i don't think all of them should be obtainable by a single click of a button. like you did with the first series with a couple of them being special releases at events and conventions. or.....maybe dropping them from a plane over a large city.

Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
The only reason I don't really want a single monthly releases is because we already have some very high profile single monthly releases (Squadts and whatever comes out of Playge). Its hard enough to keep up with the current monthly releases. You have to have money together to pay (which gets hard sometimes) and you have to be here at a certain time or else risk missing out (sometimes they sell out very fast and its unpredictable which will do so) and then you have to try your luck and empty your wallet out on the secondary market.
Blind box releases are much more relaxed. It takes a while for most stores to run out of blindbox stock, and every blindbox has a chance to be a rare BUD so there isn't usually a huge mad rush to get what you can as fast as you can (and to you wallet's detriment usually).
In general if a toy is over $40 each then a monthly release makes sense. Otherwise blindbox them and save the frustration for higher ticket items and "exclusive' releases like the Candypaint Fire.
(Note, this doesn't mean its a good idea to price SKLLBUD S2 @ $40 each )

Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
im only gonna run 200 pcs of each colorway. so perhaps the best way is direct release on a monthly basis. with some hand paints thrown in to keep it interesting.
although whco makes some good points.

SKLLBUDscription?

Well, you got one.
And BigC can take the other 79...
Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
I'd say that depends on cost. I'd love a SKLLBudscription. I'd also love it if I got a job before they were offered.

Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
My vote is for monthly. For v1 I cottoned to some colorways but not others.
I prefer to pay a little more and know exactly what I'm getting.
Do you have any idea at this time of how many colorways are planned?

I voted for a monthly release as well. I like the idea of knowing what I'm going to get + a possibility of getting variants.
Really looking forward to 2.0!

Re: SKLLBUD 2.0
Voted monthly. Blind boxes are fun to some extent because you never know what your going to get, so the more blind boxes you buy the bigger chance you have of scoring a chase. I bought a little over a case worth of series 3 got a Mottpop but I never scored a Morris. Thats cool, I still had fun opening all of them. But like Ferg said if he did monthly releases and threw in a few hand painted chases it would kind of be blind boxes but if you didn't score a chase you would still know what you are getting. So blind side is 50/50. Ferg is the man and I will be happy with whatever decision he makes! And thats all I've got to say about that.
