that game had me jumping up and down, what a meltdown by the heat and what a show by Terry and Nowitski. i'm not a big fan of the 2-3-2 series, but from what i understand the NBA did it to increase the chances that the team with home court advantage wins the series while at home. shit now Dallas only has to win 3 in a row at home!

i think the winner of the next game will win the series........
if the mavs win then all they need to do is take 1 of the remaining 2 at home and then 1 in miami, plus it will give miami further doubt
if miami wins then they regain home court advantage

hopefully the Mavs don't blow the great momentum they have from Wednesday's comeback win
hopefully they trounce the heat and put further doubt into miami's head
if miami doesn't respond today with at least a close game, they are done

Agreed, but I do think the Mavs might take it. Meltdowns of this proportion are actually pretty common when you have a team with an ego this size. The arrogance with which Miami has been playing has been pretty breathtaking. They are only playing as well as they think they need to, not as well as they could or should. It feels like the Patriots/Giants Super Bowl all over again, to me.
