yeah. I need to look into that. Especially if the Lulubell robbery was from someone in the know. I hope they were insured.

Being a business and all, they were probably required to have insurance especially if they owned the bank any money. Won't get those toys back tho

Its a real shame they got robbed, really hope the person or persons that did it get caught.
But on the topic of insurance i found this link that talks about art work insurance.
Maybe worth a read to anyone whos collection is worth alot. http://www.artbusiness.com/insurecoll.html
price wise the article says for 1000$ coverage would cost you around 1-2$ on your monthly home insurance. Sounds like an awesome deal to me lol.
p.s Awesome collection D!

My insurance is me. I'm not the usual toy nerd (I don't think most of us Jamunoites are), but I'll fuckin destroy someone if they break into my house, when I'm home at least. But I'd do that even if I owned nothing.

Insuring collectables is very tricky. If you keep all your receipts you would get back original value, but you have to get special insurance to cover collectables if you want replacement value. Having spoken to my insurance guy, there are appraisals and whatnot that have to take place. Replacement value insurance is also more expensive. Not to say that it ain't worth it, just know what you are getting into. I don't have insurance on my toys. Robbing me would be a nightmare. If someone wants my shit that bad they can have it. They would have to find the boxes, and not damage anything in the process. Not worth it for what they would get for the collection as well as the difficulty of fencing it and the risk of being caught. If it all goes up in smoke, it is what it is. It's just stuff, and I'll be happy if I make it out alive. As they say, you can't take it with you.

The most recent pics are the ones closest to the end of thread. The early ones have been deleted.
