broken gohst

if my gohst's neck joint broke and i fixed it as if it was new head still moves and cant tell it was broken, would the value of him go down or do you think i could get back what i paid for him?

I think value would be down a bit but not much if the repair was done properly

yea looks good actually i think it is better the way i did it then the way it actually is on squadts, now i dont have to worry about it breaking off even if i do heat it up, goes on and off like a charm

Any pix of the repair you did? I'd like to see how it looks, maybe its worth the same price as normal lol not sure though!

I would actually say that the value goes down a whole lot. A broken toy is a broken toy, even when it's repaired because it isn't in its original condition. Trust me interested parties will probably ask "How did you break it, etc?"

For instance, I'll talk in shoe terms:

I had a pair of B Grade SBTG dunks, B grade meaning it can have minor aesthetic defects or major defects. Nike Outlet was selling them for $40, I was able to sell them for $240 brand new, never worn

I also had a pair of SBTG dunks that didnt have any defects. I bought them for original price, I can't remember. I sold them for around $340.00

Real collectors care about pristine condition. But good for you that you fixed it! I would say save it, squadts are hard to come by imo

Nah...I've just only been able to come on here for a little bit every few days lately and it's hard to keep track of everything going on. I miss the good ol' days of clean, centralized information. But...I guess I'm just being a crabby old man.

Oh and one list is one too many

Ill pay 30 grand for it but the head has to be reatched backwards

message boards are pretty hard to keep neat and organized. plus there are quite few new collectors to the board, which makes for a ton more questions and some new and interesting topics.
