Re: ASPP Adam Saul AS Printing Press
Here's a few things I've been working on lately.
These are some other prints for a Halloween themed show I'm involved in at Wootini in Carrboro, NC.
I've got a quite a few of these in the works right now, included a couple fairly large ones. I will post pics once I'm done.
This one is also for the show at Wootini.

Yes they will all be for sale. They are all for a show so I have to let them sit there for a bit, but if they are still available afterwards I will let whoever is interested know the details. I don't think all the prints will sell at the show, although its a very small run of only 25. I've got quite a few more of the paintings in the works including a couple fairly large ones.

Re: ASPP Adam Saul AS Printing Press
Any concerns using pulp paper in you final artworks? I mean they contain high levels of acidity so they will yellow and turn brittle over time which might look awesome but then again who knows?
When I was in school and I used to make stuff like that I would photocopy the newspapers and then use wintergreen oil to transfer the xerox toner onto some nice acid-free hotpressed watercolor or printmaking paper. After that I could tea stain it or whatever to achieve an aged look and not worry too much about the look changing much with the passage of time.

Not really worried about it, theres about 5 layers of shellac on top of the glue that I used to hold them to the canvas. Their now going anywhere anytime soon that's for damn sure. The shellac helps it look aged and protects it from the elements.

Great work, man... I'm really digging on these!
I wish I had the funds to get that last set of prints, too.
