Re: Music Thread
I love all of Metric's albums. "Fantasies" stepped up to a new level, it is phenomenal. The crowd to see them at Lollapalooza was gigantic. Too much fun.
Foals are great, although I liked the odd time changes and dissonance of "Antidotes" a bit more than the more chill beauty of "Total Life Forever." Both are amazing, though. Hoping to see them live next month when they come to Chicago.

I confess, I haven't listened to Emily Haines' solo stuff at all. As far as projects featuring her, I've only heard Broken Social Scene, Stars and Metric.

Re: Music Thread
I've been big on the wonky side of hip hop production lately... listening to Baths, Rustie, the new Nosaj Thing album, Samiyam and the Gaslamp Killer.

Re: Music Thread
It's fuckin crazy when you hear a song that you really like, you look up the artist to check out their other songs, and you think the rest of their stuff is crap.

Going to see Bad Religion and The Bouncing Souls(drummer is my old room mate) tonight in Tempe. Should be a nostalgic rock night.

Here's a clip of my new band/project "The End is Part of the Dance"
We are currently looking for artwork for releases. Mainly digital releases, not print. Here's our first single artwork I made. Yes, I'm heavily influenced by Daniel Danger, for some reason dark forest silhouettes hit close to home.
