Playge Doctor!

Is anyone else with a preorder from Toy Art Gallery still waiting for their doctor?

I'm very impatient when it comes to vinyl, and its a worry that people have already received their doctor from other stores. Hopefully there is no dramas.

I did as well, here's a reply I received on the 27th

"We have yet to receive our shipment of the Doctor Squadts,
so I'll be letting you know as soon as we do.
Thanks!"

Hmmmm still waiting on Toy Art Gallery to organise shipping etc for the doc. Ferg can you shed any light on your delivery to them?

Those are some great shots of the retail Dr. I haven't bought one yet, but I really love the colors on it more than the regular version. I'll have to try to find one soon!

I didn't weed through all the posts for forgive me if this was brought up already...

My black playge doctor came in today and I notice he has quite a limp (seems like his left leg is a bit shorter than the right) is this intentional? Maybe he really does need the sword cane and it's not just to look cool

Hmm. Mine's OK. Is one leg shifted a bit? They can be articulated. Hope it's OK.

Yup, I'll be there all weekend. Got there late today but did see Hot Chip, Chromeo and Lady Gaga. All very entertaining. Tomorrow gonna see Dragonette, Stars, The XX, Metric, Cut Copy, Social D, Phoenix and Empire of the Sun. Probably only go to see the Cribs on Sunday and then take off. Too much shit to do.

picked up the retailer version from rotofugi! looks great. he had a fun time at lolla!

that gaga show was intense! very entertaining to say the least.

also the owner of rotofugi opened up the gallery for me to see the coarse exhibit. that was awesome!

he said the squadt show coming up will be pretty bad ass as well! all the images are up at the coarse website.

Yeah I tried rotating them around to get them both at the same level, but it seems like one is just shorter than the other or something odd. Can't imagine only mine is like this since the legs should all be the same right? I might just be too particular about it...

The bodies of the squadts are made of soft vinyl. It is not unknown to have legs "push up" the soft vinyl around them to make one leg shorter than the other. It happened with one of my CrappyCats. A hot hair dryer and pulling the leg down and holding it till it cooled fixed the problem.

On the other hand, you may have just gotten a gimpy playge doc

mine has a little lean, but its more of a gansta lean. as long as he doesnt tip over when hes got his helmet and hat on, its fine by me.

The heat trick seemed to help a bit- I might give my doc another round with hair dryer this weekend to see if I can't get him totally flat footed

Finally recived my Reg Doc today

managed to pick up a retail doc + qpmnt pac 3 at a local toy shop today! and at a pretty fair price

great feeling because i hardly see any squadts in shops here. hope this is a sign of things to come. more squadts + playge stuff in shops = win

im getting the regular one tomorrow!
