This is the storage room where I keep 90% of my toys when they're not in 1 of the detolfs I own. I keep them a few feet above ground because I didn't think the water would get that high. I haven't even gone in there yet.

Damn that sucks man..I don't know what to say after seeing the pics...I'd be pissed for sure. Hopefully you have some help over there to clean up, and maybe you can salvage some stuff after they dry out.

Well I didn't think it was too bad. Some figures lost their boxes and such but the toy wasn't bad. NKD Jack needs a bath and so on. Frozn gassd seems to have remained dry. Then it happened. I opened a box and inside it was...my black fucking Copperhead. Drenched. Completely. I haven't opened it yet cuz I'm taking a break. I think I might be done with toy collecting guys. At least that's the mood I'm in right now. I missed the last couple drops from work. Bosses insisting on seeing me at 11:58 FOR SOME STUPID SHIT. Even the assembly. I was actually at the god damned show but didn't walk away with anything cuz I got out of work late. And now this. I don't think I'm going to be selling any of my toys so please don't pm me. But as far as buying new ones...I dunno.

ugh. that is shitty. i freaked out when the drain hose from my washer broke and flooded my room with less than an inch of water.

Ed I'm sorry to see and hear what happened dude.

I don't blame you if you want to get out collecting especially after what just happened. At the SA show Filthyrich, Crunch, Mazdevilz, Cripery and I talked about what we would do if our collection went up in flames or destroyed in some way. I think we all agreed we would give up collecting and focus on something else in life just because it would be painful to continue. Hopefully your collection should be somewhat salvageable. But I think maybe just taking a break from collecting for some time would help.

It's alright guys. Life goes on. I have been focused on getting my black belt this year too. So yeah, I gotta get my gym back up and running. Thankfully my punching bag remained dry and it appears the mats to my bench press and other workout machine are ok. Nordic track had to go but hitting the bag and practicing are great cardio. Eh it just sucks. I should take pics of it now tho. Me and my wife made a lot of headway. All appliances are back up and running thank god. I didn't have hot water. Haven't showered since freakin Thursday! Had to kinda disassemble the pilot hose cuz it had some kind of blockage in it. It was kind of a bitch but I did it. The sump pump was stuck in the on position and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the city pipes were pushing debris through so I had to go in and dig it out. It was nasty but it's done. Not bad for a guy that's only somewhat handy, eh?

Sooo yeah. I was going through my wet squadts and removing clothing and gear when dipshit that I am came across a wet copperhead.....yeah I fucked up his outfit.
If anyone has an extra copperhead suit pm me please. I'll buy it!

This is my weekend. Totaled my only vehicle yesterday broke my right foot, bruised my sternum, and can't tattoo 4-6 weeks due to compound fracture to my left pinky. Thank goodness im the only one who got hurt. So needless to say gonna be putting some stuff up for sale once I get home. Gonna start off with some Skelves.
