Designer Con 2010

Does Jamungo have anything in the works for Designer Con 2010? And/Or anyone else here planning on attending? Last time I went it was still called VTN but I'm thinking about going back. Worth it?

never heard of designer con, is it pretty popular?

I'm going. I kind of doubt that Ferg will have anything for this show.

it's a fairly small show but they had released a bud at one a few years back so it was worth a shot!

Now that was a fair deal. They sold the 5 day pass while the con was ongoing! I hate San Diego. They (the Con)somehow bamboozled the deal so it would stay in a location that is too small for the show. The entertainment industry is quickly swallowing the Con for it's own purposes. One can only hope the comic and toy companies get together and make a new con without the movies, tv and gamer companies. Otherwise in another few years this show won't be for toys or comics.

They always sell the tickets for the next year at the show. The San Diego convention hall is being expanded significantly to retain this convention. I agree that there are too many big entertainment booths but this would be the case in Vegas as well. I prefer that the con stays in San Diego. Vegas has no class. San Diego is a beautiful city, and that is the main reason I go to SDCC. San Diego is a big part of what made this convention what it is. No other convention has ever come close to SDCC, not for lack of trying.
