According to Scott, there were torn face chases in the ones at SDCC as well. Some people complained and traded them in for regular ones.. the fools..

I would do that. The torn variants are definitely awesome, but if I'm buying something like that, I want the original piece. I think it might be better if they were given away randomly as a bonus.

Even if I prefer the regular version of a figure to the chase version, I still hope for the chase. It's a hell of a lot easier (and cheaper) to find the original after-market.
