Real Four Look is nearly impossible to find as it is basically illegal to sell the original Four Loko recipe in the United States and has been for nearly a year meaning any local stock has probably been sold out for a while.

Since it is basically just an energy drink with alcohol, buy a Redbull and pour a shot of rum or whiskey into it.

There might still be a few cans on the back of store shelves (especially generally sketchy stores like most asian markets tend to be). But by and large it is pretty difficult to find the OG Four Loko these days.

I don't understand why people want it so much. It is because it is "dangerous" or some other crazy bullshit? All it is is an energy drink mixed with alcohol; people have been mixing vodka and Redbull (as well as other energy drinks and spirits/liquors) for years. It isn't anything new or exciting and the FDA ban on caffeinated alcoholic beverages doesn't prevent you from making your own mixes.

Four Loko doesn't even taste that great, and it is definitely not worth trading your Squadts for.

It's really quite easy to make it on your own. It's not like it's original absinthe. It's literally just an energy drink combined with one of the malt beverages that were so popular a few years back. They just don't want it packaged together because they think it encourages binge drinking and makes it possible for people to be hella drunk and still functioning enough to keep drinking. Having worked in a bar on and off for several years, I've seen it fairly often. I've called 911 on many an idiot that got alcohol poisoning.
