Custom shiny 3" goodness

I've been slowly working on some 3" Jamungo toys.

These have a real nice shine to them with all kinds of metallic flake. I put like 5 coats of crystal clear on these.


This one is gold leafed with 23 carrot gold.

It can be fun but it's also one of the most frustrating mediums I've ever worked with, not to mention it's expensive as hell if you want to use real gold leaf. A box of 500 sheets is around $600, I think I used around 4 sheets for this guy.

An art supply store near my house sells sheets of 22K gold leaf in packs of 10 for about $20.
I was figuring 2 packs for a 9" BUD. The sheets are about 7" square.

Sweet customs, if you are tempted to do another gold leaf I would like to be considered, would look cool next to my chrome white stripes

Thanks, I really have a hard time getting rid of the customs I do. It's just hard to see them go sometimes.
