Color is just right. Now to strip them down and see if I can keep the paint from peeling right off.

Ive never painted, what brand do you use?
Does it just peel back like its shrinking?

Those were painted with Belton Moltow Premium. Tried cleaning the original Squadts with alcohol then painting. Didn't get a good bond. The original paint is fine, just the new stuff that is peeling. Will strip to bare vinyl, prime, then paint again. Should be fine after that.

Have also used Monster Kolor. It is really fantastic paint, will work on bare vinyl with no primer (though I wouldn't do that all the time). Sadly, it is super expensive and doesn't have a wide variety of colors. I still have some I will use, but trying to not spend as much as the Squadt to paint it.

No news, sorry. Still the same problem, working too much.

It is sitting right beside my TB custom that started about the same time.

What little time I've had has been spent doing simple re-paints. Don't know when I will be able to get any significant work done on this or several other projects I have started.

nice ones dude, if only we could buy a box of blank squadts for a little cheaper than customizing a regular then I would have the balls to try some custom work.

How about the NKD's?

I'd love it if once a year we could order blank Squadts. Or, maybe they are stock items in the CAD Storehouse. I try to use the NKD and Retail releases when possible. Would just be nice not to have to take production Squadts out of circulation for customs.
