Coarse Pink Paws Empty Coarse Pink Paws

Coarse Pink Paws Pawblush14

Squeaking and nimble he appears on the scene. Only a few remaining spots of his white body shimmer in the morning glow. This early sunlight drowns out his surroundings while the rest of his massive appearance remains almost entirely shrouded by the glittering dust of the pink soil. His bright nose graciously fights for attention, and his daunting eyes hide behind their reflections of the blue sky.

coarse is presenting paw! blush in cooperation with the collection Selim Varol, a unique collectors edition created to become a part of or the starting point of your “pink collection”. The 12'' vinyl figure comes cocooned in white sponge, packed in a highly unique and exclusive handcrafted wooden box resembling the existence of paw! the monkey rabbit.

Goddamn, that's expensive. I remember when these came out they were $128. Now even the blanks are more than that. Why so pricey? Especially when the 1:3 pain in dreams was what, $700?

I know Coarsetoys is like the high end of toys. It sits in the spectrum where a luxury sedan would in the case of cars. That said, thats a very steep price point. Where does the company justify the price?

In any case, the figure looks lovely and the colors are beautiful. But at this juncture, though, the time has passed for such a piece. I feel that the whole "color-coded" idea was something that they should have done a few years ago.

I don't really collect vinyl in the 'fluffier' styles of coarse or many other western artists, but I would pick this up, if it where not so expensive. It probably does a favor to all of us that never quite got into the Coarse game and now it's too expensive to either buy retroactively or, it seems, the new releases.

sucks for the hardcore fans, though.

Kaws strikes me as another type of brand that has gone that way.

The question then becomes; If your higher art pieces sell in the thousands and you intended for your 'toys' to reach a more common collector with tighter budgets, why make your pieces so damn expensive? Theyre still made in china, by the same 'hand-made' degree factories and with the same low paid workers. It baffles me.

Another reason I like to support so many of our American indie toy makers.

I'd love to hear more on this and how others feel about it.

Several years back Coarse sold several colors of this figure at the SDCC. They weren't that expensive than. Ok, so they only have 144 of these. That high price is tunes for the average collector. As pointed out the Coarse Pain (which I did buy) was $700.00 Not much difference in cost here. Again I'll pass. What a Face

I think this would be an interesting topic in the Anything Goes section.

the price is sky high, it can not cost so much, then a pink, other colors are more beautiful to me

For the same price you buy a custom commission, by the great masters, at least it's unique in the world
