Paul Kaiju x TAG – Pollen Kaiser Black (9.26)

Last week we brought you an early look at Toy Art Gallery’s first factory-painted, production edition of their Pollen Kaiser 10” sofubi from Paul Kaiju. Now, TAG has officially revealed the Pollen Kaiser Black Edition with a series of studio shots showcasing the paint designed directed by Paul himself, which features metallic gold and blue sprays over a base black vinyl finished with highlights in red and yellow.

The Pollen Kaiser vinyl is an impressive figure which nicely builds on what began with PK’s original resin figure. The vinyl edition offers an imposing scale, 5 points of articulation (shoulders, waist and arms with real joints), a deluxe staff, and is capped off with a striking red doll eye. This one drops on Wednesday, September 26th @ Noon PDT for $165 from TAG’s online shop as well as their retail location on Melrose.

I need this so bad, If I can score that, thats takes care of one PK sculpt that I really need.

Yeah. I missed the on line sale and I can't make it to the store because of my holiday today. Oh well. Can't buy everything. There is one on the bay for over $400.00 now. Maybe next time.

Im pretty sure TAG will have more of these "factory painted" editions, theyre larger and there is a lot of people that want PK stuff, so there is no reason not to do it.

It actually went live on the page at about 11:45, it took me a good 10 minutes to buy it since it wouldnt take my korean paypal and I had to figure something out.

So dont fret, I see a lot of pollen kaiser in the future. Now all I need is a salamander Joe and a Mockbat and I will be set for sculpts.

oh man, I need that mini GID PK real bad. A mockbat and that guy are on my top list right now. the Uhchia man would be great too.

the Base vinyl on that DX PK looks really good as well.
