tainted vision is having a spring clearance sale, so they have a few sqwerts at reasonable prices.

just sayin, and no i don't work there, but i sure do shop there a lot

Not bad prices I guess...

But I picked up the Kozik Death Sqwert for $6.99 at my local Newbury Comics.
And I just got the white Brian Morris for $12 delivered off the 'bay.
Paid $18 delivered for the GID Batbrow.

I am really looking to pick up the MAD set for under $30 delivered, but its not a high priority and $60 for both plus shipping = no in my book.
I saw them once for $30 delivered on the 'bay and I am sure they will eventually come up there for that price again.
Sqwerts seem to get little loving and they come up for cheap a lot of you wait it out.

Lulubelltoys was having a clearance sale.
The toy was allegedly "open box" but you really can't tell with toys like Sqwerts since they aren't sealed.

With Lulubell, open box just means it was a display piece. I bought a whole set of sqwerts (minus the Tara) when they had a sell last year. I got 2 of the VB GID's for $15 a piece.

If you are a collector of toys, most of the toys you get aren't MISB anyway. 90% of the single Jamungo BUDs I bought were opened. I don't care, as long as the toy is in good shape.

What's up with that Tara Sqwert? Everybody wants it, and they are nowhere to be found. I know she has a bigger fan base now, but for so long they were all over the place for cheap and it was a pretty decent-sized run. Then, bam, nowhere.

The Tara Sqwert is teh awsums.
But seriously Tara McPherson has a very large following, and she doesn't make all _that_ many toys (compared to say.. Kozik). All of Tara's toys quickly sell out and become sought after collectables. Especially the toys where she gets to do whatever she wants, and is not tied down to restrictions due to the platform.

I saw that someone has sold a few for $200+ each. I still don't believe it. Anyone hear the same?

i also think it took a little bit for a lot of her fan base to embrace the idea of vinyl toys. a lot of them were simply poster collectors to begin with

I haven't seen them go that high yet. I paid about $50 for mine. And on expressobeans they list the last few for selling in the $60-70 range. I certainly don't think that it is worth much more than that right now.

I have seen a few on eBay as part of sets of 6 or so Sqwerts. The sellers are asking like $2-300 for incomplete sets which are not quite worth it. The Tara & maybe the GID Batbrow are worth like $50-60 each, and all of the other Sqwerts are not worth much more than $10 each.

I have almsot the full set of Sqwerts and this is how much I paid for them:
Tara - $50
GID Batbrow - $15 (worth about $65 now)
Pink Batbrow - $15
Kozik Kill - $6
Tado - $1
Gohst - $1
Brian Morris White - $12
Brian Morris Gold - $20
Green MAD - $15 (Looking for a Brown @ $20 shipped)

I would value a Full Set of Sqwerts at around USD$250-275.
This includes the 6 original Sqwerts as well as the 4 Mad & Brian Morris artist edition sqwerts.

I would put a full set a bit higher than that, but it all depends on the buyer and seller I suppose. Sqwerts don't get enough love in the world.
