helment signing raise or decrease value
Does helment signing too a squadt raise the value , stay the same , or decrease. Just wondering before I get certain helments signed . I wanna do my nkds just for my self pleasure of having It signed could care less if It raised the value but obviously would suck if It droped ..... Chance I'm willing too take hahaa

Re: helment signing raise or decrease value
I consider signed items always decrease value.
It stains vinyl and seeps into it causing bleeding depending on the force of the signature.
In most cases people want there stuff clean and if they want a sig they get it themselves since its more of a sentimental thing to have a sig.
also think pawn stars. they always offer less or dont buy if there is no proof of authenticity... ive been sick the past two days and have been watching a lot of that show

+1 on this!! I don't think I could do what Anthony did at SDCC and carry the helmets in a backpack... but I wish I could have them all signed.

Re: helment signing raise or decrease value
Yea i think it all depends on who you ask it would be increase or decreased value
me though i plan on getting a couple signed and it would be purely sentimental value because me too i simply fucking love Ferg's work

Hmm, I always thot otherwise, everything signed by the professional/creator/designer/etc make it more rare and special...like sports memorabilia...

I think it comes down to personal taste. I'd pay a little more for something that isn't signed.

Re: helment signing raise or decrease value
Thanks guys.
Ferg was VERY generous to sign my helmets at SDCC last year. I can't believe I accumulated that many Squadts in two months.

I wouldn't get too crazy!
I think he mentioned to us to bring no more than 3 things to sign at the last Roto gallery showing.
I got 3 helmets signed at the Roto show and I was able to get a TB #88 signed from SDCC. I like the signatures and wont re-sell them so value isn't as important as having a fond memory of being at the Roto show.

Re: helment signing raise or decrease value
I am not a big fan of signing a box and think its a waste of time. You can't see the figure in the box, so why sign it. The only time I would have a box signed was if I were to keep it and show it, in the box.
For example: An Alex Pardee Walrus Rider.
