Prototype Custom Plexi-lighted boxes for my Squadts.

So, I just picked up my second Detlof dedicated to my Squadts. Wanted to make custom plexi lighted boxes for them.
This is a prototype, hope you like and comments good or bad are appreciated....Step by step process.

thanks chip and ilove....funny thing is, i wanted to make them in black....i didnt have the material so i said...ah...let me try the red for the hick of it....

Love the Red lol....I am planning of making a few of them in different heights so they can all stand out. I had to take out one of the glass shelfs to be able to stand that up lol.....BUT.....i had a brainstorm when i took out the glass shelf.....

its vinyl material that they use for sign making or putting logos and lettering on trucks, boats etc.....

Edit: as an aside, how much does that machine/printer cost? Expensive I imagine

I am going to try a sand blast look. They make a sticker rolled material that makes it look like it was etiched into the plexi.

This was a prototype and will be missing around with other materials. I want this case to look sick when I am done lol.

No your not bro. And honestly I wouldn't sell them. Yes your right that is fergs logo and I wouldn't play with that. And also you can't sell them bc u can't get what you would want for them.

I wanted to create something unique and give boardies ideas what can get done.

Sorry bro i missed the question your asked.....That sign cutter was 1300 bucks. i got it 4 years ago. You also need a graphic design program ( I use Coral Draw 15 i think lol).

I also cut logos with a material called thermo-film and it is used to heat apply on tee's, sweatshirts etc....like screen printing....

Hey Ian. Yeah the plexi is 10" tall I took off the glass shelf so it would fit lol but if I made that plexi 8" tall I have enough space height wise. It's 16" tall from shelf to top.
