Any sneakerheads out there?

Any of y'all collect sneakers? I wouldn't call myself a shoehead or collector but I do appreciate and enjoy a select few. I have a lot of shoes in general (for a guy at least). I have a ton of Vans I wear on a regular, several J's, and there are some dunks I wouldn't mind owning. I don't buy kicks to collect them, I actually wear the ones I own. Basically, I enjoy shoes like my watches and toys. Anyone else share this love w/ me?

Use to collect, now I just wear them. What's the point of collecting them, they're going to deteriorate anyways lol.

it always intrigued me how much people took care of their shoes. And then I realized some of them wear 1k dollar shoes, so it all made sense.

I wear boots and converse. I mean, onitsukas for running but thats about it.

there are some sneaker collectors on the board, Ive seen some pics here and there, but cannot recall the name.

I've been wanting to pick up a few pairs lately on these new drops but its dam near impossible plus the retail prices seem to have skyrocketed!

Los Angeles (and San Diego) has a multitude of fantastic sneaker shops in nearly every area of the city, and most have online stores. Check around. UNDFTD is in a cool shopping area and always has great limited releases.

Fight Club LA can have some good stuff sometimes, but there are better shops for sure

Ya I know of those shops, I think they're a bit pricier than most shops as well. I recently stumbled across RIFLA and I've heard great things about that shop. Theres a shop near my work in downtown Fullerton that I've been meaning to check out as well.

only thing i own is a pair of Kaws af1 unreleased.. they sit in a box in the corner of my toy room. collecting dust

I get my sneaker on here. Mainly J's with the occasional Dunk and big fan of Clarks. For my favorite pairs, I'll snag 2 so I can wear one and save one.

I'm a size 12 and may be down to trade some white Jordan IIIs or some other extras if anyone is interested. New Squadt collector so I gotta catch up lol.

Any one website/RSS you use to keep up on ALL releases?

I have an app I bought called J23? Some guy who is really up to date on all releases and posts/twitters info. Or just follow store's twitter accounts like Finishline or Nike and you can be alerted as to when they have drops.

Think it's owned by the 510 guys right across the street. I live down the street but haven't stopped by yet. Heard it was cool though!

Anybody who has seen my instagram knows i love me some good kicks!! And for sure wear the dMn things screw collecting! That is unless its one of them sick ass shoes then buy a pair to rock n one to keep minty fresh on display haha.

I enjoy everything from converse, adidas, supra, nike, jordans, and some sick boots

Also sneakernews.com is good for upcoming releases especially jordan n nike
