Wax Warmer Empty Wax Warmer

Just started using wax to mock up my first original. I purchased the Suddenly Smooth wax warmer at a Beauty Shop and have one question.
Instructions say to not put wax directly on warmer but I am unsure of what to put over the warmer as it didint come with a tray.
ANy info would be great! Can't wait to have my first version get completely flamed on CnD!!
