On another note. If the 20" squadt is a Trouble Boy, I would assume it would have a hat and that would bump it an extra 4".

Hope everyone coming into town has a safe trip! If any of you need a ride from the airport or anything please let me know. There are a lot of places to hangout and eat or have a beer before/after the show by Stranger Factory being that it's close to the college. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and talking squadts with other people besides my girlfriend. Even though she thinks they're cool, she doesn't geek out on them like I do!

Hey, a local! What's cool to do in ABQ? So far the internet says that town is for old ladies that appreciate Native American basket weaving . . .

There's got to be something better than that - but I'm having a hard time finding it.

There's actually a lot to do. ABQ Comic Con is this weekend in old town, thats close to the plaza and there's some shops and sight seeing around there. Stranger Factory is in NOB Hill and thats considered the college part of town since the university is right there. There's a lot of cool shops and bars/breweries and a few clubs to go to. It's more laid back and not as much drama compared to the bars/clubs downtown. There's also 3 casinos to go to, they usually have live bands playing during the weekends. It just really depends what you're looking to do. Just a word of advice, it has been pretty damn cold in the evenings so I would dress warm.

2 more days! This is going to be great! Safe travels to everyone!

Make sure to take tons of photos, so everyone who can't go can be super jealous!

What about in person? Sounds like a Stranger Factory is leaning towards a lottery, right? Does that mean it doesn't help to show up early?

From what I gathered and have seen from stranger factory so far is... Anyone at the show has priority to all the pieces available. Once the opening weekend is over there is a chance for all unsold items to sell online.

The lottery is the only thing that concerns me. I am unsure if it will be a general lottery, where people have an alotted time frame to look at and choose items to buy (hopefully with a limit) or a lottery for each item. Either way I assume they will be handing out numbers once they open on Friday until the show starts. I think as long as people are there before 6pm you will be in on the lottery.

Who knows.

When I was there the other day we were talking about the process and I'm pretty sure the lottery is going to give each person a certain amount of time to choose a piece. Also, I was told that lottery tickets will more then likely be handed out between 4-6 pm before the show.

^^ ah!! Thanks for the info! There are only so many ways to do a damned lottery! The time one is good. Hopefully there are limits on how much people can buy. You let the wrong person go first and the whole show could be sold out!
