Midwest Boardies Are You Guys Okay?

Just saw on the news 70 tornadoes hit Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky

All is well here! I heard that 3 people died in a Southwest Suburb of Chicago...so messed up. Hope everyone is alright! Thanks for checking in, dude.

It was rough, Im glad everything is ok now. Lots of wind and things flying, but nothing as serious as other parts of the state.

It was nuts not too much damage at all but you couldnt see anything out side but wind, tree parts , rain , and hail .
Last year they called it a "micro bust" which did way more damage. power was out for a week trees up rooted, house all kinds of craziness but it wasnt a tornado . They classified this nonsense storm as a ttornado . I think last year there was so much damge they called it a micro burst so insurance companies didnt have too pay out.

But all in all nwi(north west Indiana) wasn't hit too hard , just slight shortage of power and lost term paper time was about all. Lol

You guys ready for the deep freeze?! Grocery stores and gas stations are outta control over here.

Nebraska isn't that much better... -12 air temp tonite, -30 wind chill. Why the hell do I live here??!?!

The midwest got it pretty bad. We got about 8-10" here in Michigan, but I heard Indiana and Illinois got it worse. I would hate to be in Chicago with all that snow. The traffic must be crazy.   

Ca so boring. I wish we had snow days.

No snow here, just insanely cold temps.... so, windchill was -43 this morning, this coming friday, air temp is supposed to be 43. Go figure.

^In the same boat. Woke up to -12, but that is nothing. It was -52 windchill, -22 actual when I woke up yesterday. After killing 2 batteries I am currently installing a block heater, and carrying a jump box when I pick up my car tomorrow. Winter is kicking my ass this year. Good news is, it's so cold they shut down school, and I'm a teacher so it's on day 2 of no workie
