I have a BuddhaBuddhaLife Lamp that I bought for my girlfriend, that is made of a similarly transluscent plastic as the 9" GID Buds. I always wanted to put a small nightlight in one so that I can turn it on to make it light up, and then turn it off to make it glow all over Smile

LED bright enough to give the output of a normal table lamp get very hot...
Besides LEDs are trickier to hook up to mains power compared to buying a small Lamp Kit at Home Depot or the local craft store Smile

i would've just cut a hole in the fucker and stuck a flashlight in there. Like those little 2"x1" 4bulb LED keychain kind...
i thought you were just talking about just a little bit of illumination. i didn't think you wanted to light a room up.

My thoughts involve having the bulb at the bottom of the body (in the crotch area, on the inside) and running the cord down through a leg and out the back of a foot. I might have to ream out the neck a bit and affix the head with epoxy so that the light would go through the head better but I would have to see what the insides look like before I made any concrete plans.

Of course this would all be contingent on being able to find another GID 9" BUD for a cheap price. Wink

If you want to supercharge them, just put a blacklight on them. They come in all shapes and sizes now, I picked up a battery-powered handheld one at Spencer Gifts so that I could charge up my GID toys and prints when I have people over, works perfectly

I do it more for my GID prints. It's hard for my eyes to adjust when the lights go out. But it would work as well for toys...

i didn't even get a tracking number for the nade so should i be worried?
i checked my paypal and both orders went through, under 'Order status/Actions' one says 'shipped, track' and the other is blank

Very happy about the Bud though.... It looks great!!

They didn't seem to sell out that fast, I mean they were up for almost 2 days before they sold out.
2 days is a long time to something that was limited to 25 (or 50 as the case may be).

Both of my DUDs arrived to day with a handful of assorted stickers.
They both look cool, they look a little bit different than the standard GID, but aside from the DUD stencil on them they are pretty much the same.

The pin on the Nades look like ABS as well.

On mine the matchstick seems a bit small for the BUD to hold. It slides through very easily, possibly because of the very smooth texture of the ABS to the more matte texture of the original GID 9" BUDs. If they were a bit thicker the BUD could hold them better.
