That bass is SICK Mendez! I never got into LPs, but I have/had boxes and boxes of my old casette tapes.

Colbert, my wife knows not to touch anything in the office, and if I free the Candypaints, they'll be coverd in dust too!! Hahahah.

I was thinking of doing something similar witha set of DVD shelves.. but yeah I was afraid of the dust.
I know I sure as hell ain't gonna dust them...

Anyone know how detolfs are for keeping dust off? I know they can't be perfect, they aren't hermetically sealed. But I figure they have to be better than an open shelf.
I was planning on making the drive down to my (somewhat) local Ikea in a few weeks and seeing if I can get me a case finally.

Hey Whacko, the other option with a shelf like mine or a DVD shelf, is that you can make a simple clear plexi-glass door. It should keep a good portion of dust out.

The crazy thing is my BUD shelf use to be filled with CDs as well. Sold a lot of CRAP that Ihave had for far too long!

Just go to a glass place and get glass cut. Then ask for stereo cabnet fixings for it. Looks better than plexi glass.

I thought about it, actually.
But the DVD shelf I was looking at (which would match the ones in my living room) are like $30, and a piece of plexi that would cover the front of it would cost like $20 at my local home depot. So if I am spending $50 I might as well go the extra $9 and get a Detolf so I can put it in a corner and have stuff viewable by two sids.

Also, I want to hang my smaller prints (like the Daniel Dangers & Mechin) in the back of the case, and the detolf is deep enough to allow for this while still givine plenty of room for 9" BUDs & Nades

I was originally buying them direct from the UK place that was selling them...I forget the name right now. Then I actually became a toy "retailer". So I was getting them from them to sell, but I was opening them first. I do sell toys much nowadays, more into the guitars, but I still have me retailership, and I still sell my Budscribber doubles. PM me if you want some of the UK buds, I can hook you up. I've sold to a few guys on here before, and you can check me Ebay account ( http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZevilgreco ) and see that I am relaiable.

Yeah Man....I actually like that Detolf mysefl....now you got me thinking! HEH! I could put 2 right were my black shelf is! There is an IKEA opening up near me soon too...in Medford...your in Mass, aren't ya Whacko?
