But yeah, forum based auctions are kind of stupid. The whole idea of auctions is that you know what the current bid is, and you don't know who you are bidding against. Forum auctions either have people PMing the auctioneer, so people rarely know where the bid stands, or else they post how much they are willing to pay so people either outbid or don't bid people based on if they like them or not.

If you want to have an auction, take to eBay and pay the fees. If you don't want to pay the fees, sell your shit for a fair price to fellow boardies.
