Re: pack squadt on the bay
I posted this in the Wanted Forum a few days ago.
Even with shipping the price per Squadt works out to only like $80 each, which is not that far from what they sold for originally. Definitely a great deal and a good way to get into Squadt collecting.

It might end up fairly close to this price. In fact I doubt that the total price will end up being much higher than $600. The sad fact is that a lot of collectors just don't have an extra $600 to blow on one purchase of toys right now. With the regular releases you only pay $75 a month and it is a lot easier for most people to come up with $75 than $540-$600. Most of the collectors who could afford another $540-600 already have the full set. And in that case its just a lot of money for something you already have when you could be adding other pieces to you collection.highjack wrote:

Re: pack squadt on the bay
i dont know, if people can pay $800+ for one HucK Gee right now, people can afford to throw down about $700 for this complete set.
I say it ends at $706 plus ship.
Anyone else want to guess?

Re: pack squadt on the bay
I think a lot of the people really passionate about these toys already have a complete or almost complete set. Or even two sets in some cases.
I would top out my price at $700 shipped thought I wouldn't be surprised to see it go a little lower.
The thing about the Huck Gee's is that they are significantly rarer than event he S1 Squadts, and come up for sale a lot less often.

Re: pack squadt on the bay
I like the Squadt a bit more than Huck's. (Mainly because they are more affordable) Now I just want to see a Squadt carry a real blade like the last Liontaur release.
Ferg, does that carry extra liability on your part, if you were to ship these Squadts with mini knives?

honestly i have no idea. as long as the packaging is marked appropriately i dont think it would be an issue.
Re: pack squadt on the bay

Shipping actual weapons overseas can be a real pain in the ass...

Re: pack squadt on the bay
The seller ended and then relisted the auction, which is a dick thing to do when you already have a Bid.
The price is now too high (IMO): $870 Squadt Auction
I like this from the bottom of the auction:

He obviously means all bids are final unless he feels like being a dick and end his auction early because the bids haven't gone as high as he would like.lutcheon wrote:All bids are final!

Re: pack squadt on the bay
actually, im down for people making a profit if thy have to, but to list something for sale then nearly double the price is just plain wack.
i buy and sell toys all the time. it helps me keep my habit under control.

Yeah I am not bothered by the fact that he is selling the toys and I don't really care that he is selling them for a profit. But to have an active auction with bids placed, and then cancel it so that he can relist it at a much higher price.. that is kind of a dick move.
Re: pack squadt on the bay
yea thats retarded, thats usually a flipper move. I think if he sold them in a smaller pack, he would make the same amount of money without looking like a dick. Like my squadts sold fairly low priced and over all i made a decent amount of money on them compared to what i spent.

Re: pack squadt on the bay
wow man.... what a piece of shit.....
i don't even know what to say...
to cancel something when someone is already bidding on it is pretty low.
and then to relist it at nearly double of what it was is just shameful.
lutcheon will never have me as a customer.

Re: pack squadt on the bay
I don't blame em for not wanting to split, but the relisting is straight bullshit.
Good luck on your hunt, rid. One'll pop up for sale soon enough.
