Coarse False Friends

Anybody getting this? Looks like friends and family can buy it now - if anybody is FF and does not want it let me know....

I want it I want it I want it. I am having some trouble pulling the trigger due to the price. I would prefer to pick it up from Rotofugi and save on all that fucking shipping, but I am gonna probably buy it tomorrow. Grrr. Not the best timing..

I dunno...I like the whole concept of it and they do look great, but I just can't get into the coarse pastels.

All the coarse toys look amazing, and the quality is top-notch.
But they just don't feel like toys to me so much as art objects, which is why i can never bring myself to buy them.

Squadts, BUDs, Crappycats all have some degree of posability and as such they can be played with if I wanted to even though I don't (much ) which might be why I never really was interested in buying the Misfortune Cat even though I agree with everyone else that it is awesome. PAWs are nice statues, and False Friends look like they ahve some posability but the price screams "NOT A TOY!" I mean.. I'd be afraid to breathe on these wrong for fear of fucking them up. I guess the more awesome and exclusive you make a toy.. the less fun you make it.

Not sure how the mindstyle thing works, but with coarse you had to have 3 previous, separate toy purchases directly though them to be in F&F. Members then have an early shot at all their new releases.

I guess they're switching it up now too. Just read that you'll now be able to get in with 3 coarse purchases from anywhere. Every piece released after january will have a code with it. Enter 3 codes on coarse.com and you're in.

I wouldn't worry to much about F&F though for false friends. I'm sure you'll be able to grab one from a retailer. Save some cash on shipping too.

I think I'm going to pass. Rather make sure I'm sorted for the Copperheads. Phew , that was a hard one to turned down. If it shows up at RHR, then maybe I'll pick it up and save some loot.

They are about 13" tall and the set goes for about $570.00 USD.

It's a fucking miracle but, yes, I'm going to pass on it for now. I'm doing so in the hopes that Rotofugi will receive some and that I will be able to save some coin. It's risky, but it's Christmas and I have limited fundage. I will own it. Oh yes. It will be mine. Just not now.

yup....pre-order at least.

As Mendez said, I'm only passing on the pre-order. Hopefully I will still buy the set, it's just not possible for me to secure $579 for a toy in the first week of December, especially after I bought HKG Pain for over $400 just a month ago.

It's possible for me, but fuck that. I too paid $400+ for my HKG . I'll wait and hope it comes avail at retailers on these shores.

I really like the one figure, but not both. But I'm still kinda...uh...about it. I really loved the Pain Paw, but now I just don't know. I still like it, but I would love to sell it.

how long is the pre-order open for family and friends? i want this set but wont have the money till the 11th :/, im hoping the dec 10th pre-order isnt gonna sell out.

Pre-order ended today. Some will be for general sale at some point through Coarse, I believe. And then there was the mention of select retailers tba.
