Just picked up the Baseman piece. I'm actually kind of excited about this series. Hopefully the artists they have chosen will not "cheese" it out. What are your thoughts?

That Baseman piece is pretty cool but I have never been a big fan of Kidrobot.

A couple of times they have had a nice toy or two and I have been tempted to buy, but I know if I bought one I would end up buying a bunch and I just really dislike the majority of stuff they put out. More so than any other toy distributor they just have the "in it for the money" vibe. I mean I know that KR is sometimes credited with kick starting the vinyl collecting craze but a lot of their toys to me a just "meh."

I think it´s funny that people have the urge to express ther dislike towards KR

But maybe it´s a way to manifest that you´re a hardcore collector

Most people that talk shit about KR do it for a reason. Nobody hates on Jamungo. or 3A. One reason. They take care of their customers. Way too many people feel like KR has taken a shit on them, and it's to the point where they're just up and leaving the bastards, taking their money elsewhere. I've seen way too much shady shit go down on those forums. Not to mention ridiculous price increases with the same old mediocre designs from the same overhyped artists. If I see another fuckin huck skullhead I'm gonna lose my shit. Yeah, KR started it all, and they still put out a nice piece once in a while, but for the most part...MEH. Baroness was the only one that was holding that company together. They're fuckin doomed.

I don't know if I am a 'hardcore' collector. I only collect Jamungo (ok, a lot of Jamungo, but still)
When I think hardcore collectors, I think Mendez or Jorester since they each have at least a half dozen shelves filled with all kinds of different toys from different manufacturers. My main problem with KR is that they try to cover every angle at once, which is a great strategy for a company (mostly) but not as great if you cannot deliver the quality across the board. Also.. $95-$140+ for a hoodie is just fucking ridiculous... seriously.

Don't let me stop you from buying their stuff if you like it, you can spend you money anyway you like and your tastes and opinions are not mine.

However, when Jamungo starts turning out tons of shit, including little cupcake toys with faces that look like over-priced "Starberry Shortcake" accessories, or make an entire toy line out of miniature fucking chairs that is the day I quit Jamungo.

Quality over Quantity.

I don't buy stuff I don't like either, but part of the reason I don't like certain things is because of who is behind them. I can see why KR has mass appeal and I don't want them to go out of business or anything, I mean they have given a lot of budding toy designers a chance which is to be commended.

Maybe they are so popular in the same way the Nintendo Wii is so popular. KR gives people the impression of quality, when in fact the majority of what you buy ends up being plastic crap

but but I buy only the exits jamungo and unipo unkl.
and and I love skull ,and all that approaches some!
