Wow, total turnaround. They made some very necessary adjustments, as well as taking advantage of the fact that the Flyers don't play as well on the road. Should be an interesting series. Go Hawks.

What a fantastic game. I was practically pissing myself at the end. True, it surely ain't over yet for the Habs. I would love to see an Original Six Stanley Cup. I have to be honest, though, that's partly because I think the Hawks would dispense with the Habs more easily than the Flyers.

yea, but both the caps and the pens had star power surrounded by mediocracy
you shut down Ovechkin and Crosby and you pretty much castrate their respective teams
the flyers don't have the superstar and therefore harder to defend

i'm a long time hawks fans and i'm just loving this, its been a difficult franchise to remain loyal to considering how old man wirtz drove the franchise into the ground
regardless, I think the hawks will win the cup 4 games to 1 regardles of who they face
with the caps and the pens gone, the western conference championship is the stanley cup as far as i'm concerned

I guess we'll see. Personally, I think the Flyers would put up more of a challenge than the Habs. But regardless, I think the Hawks are going to win. I'm taking every game night off. I fucking missed Sunday's game, spent the last 3 minutes in the break room and got to see that at least. Nonetheless, I was hella pissed. On top of that, it was almost 95 degrees here and all my friends had a cookout at the beach. :-/

The Hawks should destroy the Flyers on paper but anything can happen. Philly will play rough in front of the net just like the Hawks did to everyone in the west. It will be interesting to see how the goalies adapt. Hawks have more firepower right now, all 4 lines are playing well. Pronger vs Byfuglien should be awesome.
