Hey Ferg,

I just had a quick recommendation, and I mean no offense at all by this, just a comment, but isn't this contest kind of....unfair to some participants?

I was looking at the numbers people have chosen, and it appears Hollywood is seriously handicapped because I chose 45...the only way he will win is if the randomly generated number is 44. Anything less than 44 will make him lose, (Since he will have gone over) and any number higher will make me or someone else win...

I guess it would run all fine if we had 100 entrants, but if that doesn't happen, when the random number is generated, some people will have like a 17/100 chance compared to a 1/100 chance, because of the spacing between the numbers (if any).

Perhaps the best way would be to randomly generate a number from 0 to the total number of entrants after the final list has been decided? (Like a numeric version of 'names out of a hat' scenario?)

I mean that makes sense and all, but I picked a number that wouldn't give me a huge chance of winning, but it's MY number. the snartest way would have been to wait till the end and find the number that would give you the best chance. Either way, only one person will win it. And then I will buy it from them, if I am lucky.
