IE 8 & 9 do not play nice with .png files.
Fuck Internet Explorer. Its surprising how fast Firefox & Chrome became very good, yet Microsoft has been developing iE for nearly 20 years and it still sucks.

I think is because a lot of governments use IE as their "go to" browser, thus getting real nice and comfy with IE and that in turn forces a lot of people to use IE for any governmental issues. At least that was the case in Mexico and it seems to be the case here in south Korea. Here kids rarely use google and IE is pretty much the only thing they use, since it comes with all the bootlegged software that you get when you buy a pc.
