Good places to live in the US
So... I got tired of paying two times more for everything that I buy. I'm tired of not finding anything I like or use or collect
You, my good people from the US and A, what'd be a good place to live? Not so expensive but with good life quality
Also on toy-wise, what'd be a good city? Good events, factories neraby, good stores, easy to acquire and sell toys or art?
Thanks much

If you like weather...San Diego.....plus SDCC is there, and a ton of shit happens an hour away in L.A. Not cheap, but much cheaper then here or N.Y.

Yes, I'm very white hahaha
I love Texas, but I imagine the weather is kind of dry and hot and I have tons of problems with this kind of weather
I've been getting some good commenting on Chicago, actually. It's something I've been considering. From what people talks, looks promising

Re: Good places to live in the US
chicago's got rotofugi... a-okay went under/lost their lease/whatever.
awesome cultural diversity (and our own brand of hipsters).
THE. BEST. BURGERS. *cough*kuma's corner*cough*
and, oh yeah... the stanley cup.
it's not the cheapest, but if you don't smoke (taxes) or own a car (parking),
it's not so bad. and seriously, the people here, by and large, are pretty
fucking awesome.

Fucking Chicago man, some of the best food in the world, plus Rotofugi. New York city is always good but you need like tons of bucks. Denver, Colorado has really good housing market i was told from my cousin. When I go back to america, it's either NYC, chi-town or Denver for me.
Since I'm black Texas is out.. unless some magic forces turned everyone in Texas black.. actually I think i'd be more likely to avoid Texas after that.. N/M

Re: Good places to live in the US
No clue.
However, I can tell you that the Atlanta, GA area sucks for toys.....period!
Not that cheap to live here either, but it is nothing like CA.
From what I can tell the Bay Area in CA is great for toys but cost sucks big time. Friend of mine just moved there and we keep finding more and more places to buy toys. Downside is paying $2900 a month for a 1000 sqft loft with no parking.
Sorry, not much help here.

Thanks for the answers, this is all more helpfull than you can think
I can see that there's plenty of love for Chicago, around here
When sbbenhcs said it's not the cheapest, should that sound like a reasonable "not the cheapest" or a very expensive "not the cheapest"?
