You dont need an understanding. Art is subjective like that. If you like it, then everyone else and their opinions can go suck a dick. Getting butterflies and feeling good just by looking at a picture/sculpture, is what art is all about.

In my case, the books gave a glimpse at the artist that I had no other way of getting. Im with you, Raw is amazing and I will look forward to more of it. Its the BnW Ashley wood that I like so much, the fuck it 4 just showed me an aspect of AW that I was curious about and now I have a different opinion of his work, thats all. and all my ranting aside, for the price, those books were a steal. I hope 3A publishing gets to do more of that and bring more artists on board, cult of beauty seems to be a nice book to, though I take the reviews on the 3A forum with a pinch of salt.

I much rather support new artists, though. I want 3A publishing to get new artists, like the guy SGDM for example. AWs pedestal is quite high, too bad the technique on his art is not. LOL.

He's on a high horse, people put him or portray it to be amazing and his attitude is that of a diva. The art is deemed as great, but technically it is not. hmm... I really can't find words to describe it anymore. My attitude towards 3A and AW in particular has been presented plenty of times here. Explaining myself and my posture, would be beating a dead horse.

Correct. Money, maybe a Squadt, who knows. If I understand correctly, this particular item would not require standing in line. It will be up for pre-order and the buyer specifies what day to pick it up when ordering. If this is the case, and 3A's website actually works, getting it should really just be the hassle of taking it to Fedex and sending it to me.

Damn screwed again. I will pick up for anyone who bought two IF you'll sell me a Zomb. Otherwise don't ask. This was just another cluster fuck in a long line of disappointment for me from 3A. Sure, Ash wasn't in charge but to make a limited edition fig of 250, allow 2 per person and than make it so non attendees get in before people attending sucks. 2013 is sure looking like the year I bail on this crap. At least Ferg goes out of his way to see that his fans have a chance. 3A not so much.

man that sucks Eric... can I ask you a question... do you think all of these figures are going to actual collectors or are they headed to ebay.

I only collect CAD stuff, so I don't know how everything else is selling.

My feeling is that sure, some will wind up on Ebay. That's a no brainer as Zombs are super popular. Don't get me wrong. I completely understand Ltd. ED after all of the years I have been collecting. All I wanted was a 24 hours heads up! To make 250, allow 2 per and also have people from all over the world be able to order and have people mule for them is nuts. Attendees should have been given a priority. Sell 200 to attendees than have the last 50 afterwards to non. Not so hard, at least in my head. Oh well....I'll live without it but I won't patronize IDW again.

Hey so these Zomb figures... its 250 pieces but they are blind boxes... there is 2 of them im assuming from the picture... does that mean its really limited to 125 per figure or is one of them a chase?
