Big heavy steel wip - finally an update 5/27/11

Since I mentioned it in a previous post I decided to show the wip pic I have so far. It is articulated at the elbow in 2 places. So it can pivot and rotate. The fingers are not articulated. Maybe will do something like that in the future. It already weighs a ton. I can only imagine what it's going to weigh when it's finished.

Finally an update to this guy. It's hard to design your own robot while sifting through scrap. The beer is there for scale, and refreshment.
