My first bud - finished. Pic on page 2

I'm not used to working on something this small. I actually had the face done but didn't like it. So I carved it off and started over. I like this one a lot more. I can't decide. Should I sculpt more on the body or just finish with paint?

It's a tossup. I like the head a lot. It still works without changing the body style.

I've got a lil more sculpt to add to his back (I started it but didn't show it yet). And I'm thinking about bulking his chest up more so it doesn't look like I just carved it in. I wish I knew how to do leds but I don't and I'm not about to experiment on this guy. It's always a learning process for me when I customize so it's always fun.

I've got a gijoe one on eBay I've been watching and thinking about. So I've gotta ask some painting questions here. I started painting him in enamels because I didn't want to clear coat something this small. I'm using thin coats so it's gonna be 2 coats per color but white is taking forever. Does anyone else ever have this issue with white?

Also the freakin primer is all tacky. If I paint over the primer with the enamels they dry but 24 hours later I still have to be careful handling him or I make a fingerprint. Gaaa!!!

To clarify only the primed areas are tacky. When i paint over the primer it's o.k. to touch but I'm putting fingerprints in the primed areas

As you can see he needs some touching up and I'm waiting on a kitana from ebay. I've also gotta paint his match up too. But almost done.
