NKD Squadt JACK question

I just received my NKD Squadt JACK but his helm is all scratched
it looks like it is from rubbing on the clamshell.
my question is to those who have one, is yours scratched too?
I got it from sideshow.com and I'm sure their return policy is pretty good but before I go through all that hassle I wanted to know if this is common.
I'd hate to get another and find it is the same.

what's worse is I'm worried that fed ex will charge me additional rod fees and customs will hit me up for more taxes totalling to $24 (which would make him $175)

pretty bummed. Can someone tell me if theirs is the same or have had this happen, thanks.

Ours from Sideshow are fine. You could try asking them to mark it as a replacement on the customs form? Don't know if this would work or not.

thanks, I did send them an email but due to holidays they are out of office until sometime next week.

i got one also and yes there was the same issue also his hands leaves mark on the guns
