SDCC 2012 wilkowski?!?

i wouldnt be surprised if this ends up being a ticket lottery...isnt that how all the skullbuds were?? Im sure more than 50 ppl are gonna show for each skin deep release (each sculpt dropping separately i hear) and DKE is not gonna let people line up all day...

seems fairer than camping all day. Then again, scalpers camp for tkts and still get more chances than reg. folk. no perfect system, but at least you worry less about making the cut of the line. Unless they have a set number of lottery tkts to give out.

def fairer, but makes it much harder for non attendees, mules, even hard core fans. DKE marks your badge, one ticket per person, theyre pretty good about it. They even start a wait list and call people for the leftovers when any winners dont show up @ the end of the day to pickup. But no official word yet, just speculating. Halfapparition over on the KR boards who does the HUGE SDCC exclusive list says he knows and it will be on the list when it comes out.

oh no.. lottery?? means only SDCC attendees that can score this piece? bummer. I'm hoping for alternatives then :/

It IS a SDCC exclusive, I dont see why anyone else that is not attending should get an equal shot at it.

doesn't have to be equal shot, but some way to score it I supposed? preorder, pick by a friend, etc. Even lottery like Ferg did with Drifter no 7 is a chance for us CAD to score some, even if it's by luck. Oh well, will just wait for the final word on how to get this figure

Iuno, the SDCC tag weighs heavily, I understand. But consider all the people that do pay for the tkts to go in, months in advance and all that Jazz (leaving flipper talk out, since we all know how that goes).

Id love to have a Misfortune Cat from him. From last years offerings only buffmonster had me dying, and it flew as fast as any of the others. This year, the misfortune cat is what spikes my attention. That said, I do feel that those attending should get an advantage over me. That said, I wait patiently for his next show so I can score some love myself.

Then again, nothing like a Paul Kaiju fix for me and god knows I love everything and anything that that man puts out.

Wilkowski has never done a lottery as far as sdcc goes. Let's wait till some details are released before everyone starts going nuts.

@gatiio: did you remember how luke chueh x scott wilkowski possesed were handed out in previous SDCC? love that figure as well but I figured it'll be rather high on price tag atm. Looking as good though.

how were the skullbuds or the budbats released? i dont remember it being first come first serve so i just assumed lottery. didnt mean to throw chum in the water!

and I dont remember the price on the Chueh, since im not a big fan of him, but I do recall it being the hottest item in the line up and one of the pricier ones.
