noticing sites like KR are having trouble loading. I was watching live feed with idiots out there goofing off skipping around next to the coast line. WHY?

because we are dumb humans, i'm a little inland but the rain is starting to pick up, just a matter of time before the power goes off...

Not the worst of it the rain is getting kinda crazy here in Toronto, supposed to pick up the rest of the week..really just hope it doesn't mess up things for the drop on Wednesday

they say the storm is moving slow and NYC could be under heavy rain for up to 48 hours, damn I don't have that much peanut butter and bread!!!

wow the first power line just went down at the end of my block, the fuck'n end of the power line was like the tip of a welding gun, tried to take a picture but the fire dept got to it first....

Yeah im in CT, its heading my way.. i hear its gonna hit around 4ish(one hr) and is epecting about 9 feet of rain.. so i herd.. i stocked up on tons of booze and if i dont loose power and can stay on the webs and look at toys id be stoked.

Yeah i picked up a few horror flicks so it will be nice to have power. my dad was breaking my balls about a generator, i think after this shit show im gonna cave in and buy something, At least for cold beers and movies ya know?

well I finally was able to leave my apartment after 3 days flooded inside...............
cost me the doc drop but at least i'm safe!!!!
hope everyone else survived as well as I did!!!

Just got power back late last night. Was out for 50+ hours - but I'm not complaining at all (minor inconvienence) So many more people have it much worse than I did. It is unbelievable at all the damage sandy did. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was effected.

We were lucky - our basement floods but we didn't get the amount of rain needed to flood our area.
My dads a landscaper and we had a generator to at least run the fridge an 1 light. Grilled pretty much the last 3 days.

Hope you don't have to wait that much longer for power Loner.
Not sure where you are but in Monmouth County NJ they seem to be getting power on from west to east.
