Re: GERM s003 [NUUK]
Did you already try the Nerf dart technique? - let me know how it goes.ontheDL wrote:Trying. I can't get the lenses out without fucking something up. Since the helmet is abs, it doesn't flex enough to pop them out.
I'd like to pick this up but I would feel better knowing the lenses can be popped out in some way.

I don't have any darts but I guess this gives me an excuse to go buy some. Guess I gotta get a gun too.

Re: GERM s003 [NUUK]
They always land on the west coast and then distribute from there, so it usually takes 3-4 days before they make their way to the east coast. Also, retailers won't have any info on direct squadt store releases.

Re: GERM s003 [NUUK]
OK - am I being really dumb guys? - but how on earth to you get the batteries into these fellas?? - I opened the compartment and the spring just dropped out. Now I can't seem to get the batteries to stay in and then the spring without it all falling out all over the place..
- I should add I have pretty big fingers!
edit: - Done it! - not sure if you're supposed to do this but i pulled the helmet into two pieces.. - It was pretty tight together and I was a bit worried about snappage but all sorted now.
It did go back together really well but please be careful! - I'm sure you could easily snap something or scratch it up.

Re: GERM s003 [NUUK]
The plastic panel on the inside is held together the same way the outer parts are held together. It will pop right out, giving you access to the LEDs. Be warned though, the wires are as thin as a hair.
Time to order some new LEDs

I didnt have to pull the helmet apart at all. I put one battery in first and the slid the second one and left the other battery with the second one and went in without a problem.....

I got mine today and have spent the last few hours trying to get these damn batteries in . I love the idea Ferg, but next time maybe use a single battery and put in an easier to reach spot like the bottom of a foot or something.

My spring fell out and it's been a nightmare trying to get them to sit properly as well as the spring. I wonder if some of the battery holders are defective?
Re: GERM s003 [NUUK]
