Best way to repair this?

Anybody know a good trick to repair this?

Damn, that sucks!!!

Haven't had to repair an arm before. I've used thick CA to fix legs and it worked great. Problem I see is not being able to get the ball out of the arm to make the repair. Can you get it out? If so, then it is just a question of how clean the break is and if it will match up well when you glue it back on.

You could try getting a tiny dremel drill bit, drill into it a little bit, anchor it with a tiny bit of super glue, let it dry and try to gently pop it out with a pair of pliers.
or just find a nice position to permanently set the arm in and glue it back on.

First try poppin the ball joint out then maybe use some magic sculp to reattach it tot he body, I think that stuff hardens up nicely & securely.

It might be kinda hard to get it warm enough with the dryer. You can also put it in boiling water, though I dont know what harm could that do to the paint app.

I think you should be able to repair it with super glue and a small metal rod.

There's no way that ball is coming out of there. You're just gonna screw it up more than it is now. I'd just superglue it in place and be done with it.

You could try the Squadt approach and heat with a hair dryer or hot water. Probably won't work as well on ABS as it does on vinyl, though. DL is probably right.

I can totally repair it mate, already done a bunch of 3A repairs (ball joints broken, fingers broken, etc) . After the repair, the arm will be able to be moved of course.

From previous modelling experiences it looks like you need a pin vice. Drill the hole and release the shoulder balljoint, then drill into the arm, add a piece of a cut up paperclip, glue the two back together, let dry and then lube that joint into the socket again.
