can't we just keep all of these a secret? i'm afraid a time will come, when they will be hard to get even when you are at the computer waiting for the clock to hit noon.

Or perhaps, and more fairly to the newcomers to the Cult of Jamungo, Ferg & VB can just up the edition size to 250 or something.
Weren't the original BOTMs an edition of like 100? But now they are much larger. While this cuts down on the collectibility in terms of resale value, it allows a lot more people to get their hands on some really cool toys. Also $65 x 250 gets Ferg & VB a lot more cash than $65 x 100

yes, after the first 5 releases the numbers will go up to 200 pcs. (unless its a special release.)
if we were in this for the money we would have quit a long time ago.
Re: Project Squadt has a website.
I personally believe smaller run sizes are where the vinyl is heading. The risk on the part of the company is smaller, and selling out is almost guaranteed. This keeps the hardcore collectors happy, and the hardcore collectors are the bread and butter. Sure, there are more casual collectors, but if you look at what stores and companies are saying, they aren't buying now and if they are they aren't buying nearly as much. The endless search for certain toys is part of what makes it fun. Of course, I personally have to have everything that comes out, regardless of the run size. But the way to succeed in this collector business is to have demand slightly exceed supply. I hate all the toy-snob bullshit, with re-sale value and all that "I have something you don't" crap. However, I have to admit that, in the end, the buzz/collectable nature is what sells toys for the most part, like it or not.
Nowadays the customers are being more conservative with their money, and the companies have to follow suit to survive.
Not everything Jamungo releases is such a small edition size. There's lots of Jamungo to go round.
