Allow myself to introduce.....myself

I'm somewhat new here, so I thought I would start a thread to say hello and introduce myself, finally. I've had dealings with some of you already and have found this forumn to be very helpful but a little slow at times. Well, some of you are slow all the time. I will do my best to bring the excitement. Oh yes. So, I live in San Antonio, 37 y.o. and work in construction. I was at the very first Jamungo release party in Austin, but the first bud i bought was the blue candypaint in early '08. Since then I have been totally addicted. I'm down to just needing a handful of buds to complete my collection and they are about the same handful most are looking for.

I'm currently re-organizing my Buds in a new case and will post pics when it is complete, but for now here is my other Jamungo case. I'm still pictarded, so if it doesn't show up, you will know why.

hmm if I had to guess it is because your "image" file name doesn't have a file extention after it in the URL



Also you took the URL for the web page that the photo is on, and not the URL of the actual file.
You have to Right-Click (CMD Click if you are on a Mac) the image and go down to "properties" and you should be able to find it.

added the lights per Cassette's recommendation, and glass shelves. still working on a big display case for all the buds.

OK.. Step By Step....

1. Find the picture you want to put up on the forum. It has to be in .jpeg, .png or .gif format (jpeg is most common).
2. Press the Picture Save icon (Picture with floppy disk on it).
3. Browse for your photo. Press the Upload Button.
4. You will get a box with 3 sets of links.

• The first link is for the 75x75 pixel thumbnail version of the image, thats the small one you posted above.
  
• The second link provides the code to put the image on the page, plus a link to the image hosts website (I hate that).
  
• The third link just has the image URL. This is the one I like to use. Copy this (press the copy button, or select the text and CTRL-V)

5. Press the Image button (the one next to the Picture Save icon).
6. Past your image URL into the field.
7. Hit the OK button. The image code should have been added to your post.

Very nice display!

On my (somewhat simpler) setup using similar shelves, I just attached a piece of plexi to the front of the case using velcro tabs.
They come off easy, keep the dust out and are much easier than trying to screw hinges into plexi or glass.

That's one badass collection. And I agree with Danny, glass doors make a huge difference. Keeps the dust out and they just plain look cool!

Did you do the Crappy Custom? That's the first pic of a blank that has been painted up that I've seen. Looks good!
