K11 Boomer custom

Did a minor repaint and some minor body work. Waiting on miniature hinges to arrive to attach to the back of the head to allow for front to back opening.

Disassembled. Cut thru tiny plastic hinge, cracked apart bomb tray and popped off lens.


Stock hinges should be able to pop off easily instead of cutting thru it like a dummy.  


Parts painted after being shaved/sanded down.

I'll probably keep the set up w/ the sand head on the grey body w/ tan pouches. When I get my spare grey Boomer, I'll put the grey head w/ black accents on the tan body w/ black pouches.
