I agree. I understand too that regarding the new production solution, the old 95$ with free shipping can't be no longer. The thing is that it is still fine for US customers who still have a free shipping but for european guys, the cheaper shipping option adds a little more than 35 dollars. And if you choose a better method there will be big odds to pay extra custom fees (wich really really hurts when that happens, can add 50 to 80 dollars to the price for one squadt). So yes this time european customers are fucked but I don't think that Ferg or Kirby can do anything about it. Maybe trying to find the cheapest option and changing the declared value, but that's all.

Well, it's been an interesting couple weeks on the shipping investigation front. We found an alternate carrier that would be able to transport these for significantly less, only to be told that our volume wasn't high enough and they didn't want us as a customer. Sigh.

But it's not all bad news because we dug deeper and found a solution!

I'm happy to report that starting later this week, or perhaps early next week, we'll begin offering shipping via PostNord Merchandise Mail Plus and the rates are around 50% LESS, depending on the destination. Delivery time also varies with destination, but it should be in the 2-3 week range.

The service level we’ll be using (Merchandise Mail Plus Level 2) offers tracking, although it’s a little less robust than the USPS services we currently offer. You would still receive a tracking number and would be notified when your package was handed off to your country’s postal service for delivery. From that point forward, you could then track the package using that same tracking number via your country’s post office website.

For those that already ordered, check your email and let us know if you'd like to try out the new option and receive a partial refund on your shipping.
