I liked Donnie Darko. If anything it gave P. Swayze a better legacy than Dirty Dancing! I just watched District 9 for the first time the other night. That movie is pretty good. I'm still left wanting to know if there will be another movie though. There's too many unanswered questions.

Understood. I will ignore it. Just as I have done with all the sequels to "The Crow," "The Neverending Story" and about 90 other great films ruined by ridiculous and pointless sequel films.

You just didn't like the story, or what? I thought the plot was just ok, but the effects and visuals took it to another level.

Saw District 9 the other night and was extremely disappointed. Just meh for me. I mean...what's with the whole alien rights thing? Just shoot the shit out of the bastards and be done with it. I dunno...I'm a big sci fi fan but it just didn't do anything for me...

Inglourious Basterds was good but not great. Classic Tarantino film though. More violence would've been nice I love you

I liked inglorious bastards - I agree that more violence would have been good.

I just did not like the story of avitard - I think there was too much political undertones.

I am looking forward to seeing district nine - I have heard good things about it.

Haven't seen Avatar yet, but I probably will eventually. I loved District 9, and will likely buy it on DVD. Didn't bother with Inglourious Basterds, although I will probably watch it eventually, too. My brother said it was fantastic. I typically trust his reviews. I find Tarantino to be absolutely insufferable as a person and an actor. His films can be pretty good, but the very fact that they are tied to him kinda turns me off.

Avatar was entertaining, dragged on a bit though - Apparently the DVD / Blu Ray will include a deleted Alien sex scene .. If anyone is interested .. in .. that .. sort .. of thing .. .. Maybe its just me cyclops

Best film recently has to have been Inglorious Bastards.

2010 is the year of Nightmare On Elm Street! Cant wait for the re-make!!

I've been feeling lately like there needs to be another WELL thoughtout sci-fi saga of movies. Star wars got really over played by george lucas, bad idea going backwards in the store line instead of forward. I reaaally hope 2010 will be a better year for sci-fi movies, bring on a good orginal series!

I just watched Zombieland & Extract. Good movies. I still love Shaun of the Dead the most, but Zombieland is a pretty funny movie. Extract is a good movie too. It's a little odd, but I liked it.

Last night I watched "Neon Maniacs"(1986). The description said evil zombies. It lied! Evil monsters that can be destroyed by water yes, zombies no. Anybody going to go see "The Crazies"? I read somewhere Romero is a producer of the movie. Also, I've read it's really gory like the "Hills Have Eyes" remake.

Just watched Zombieland the other night. Loved it. Guns, zombies and Woody Harrelson all in one movie? Awesome. Also the cameo from my favorite actor ever. Not gonna say who in case some haven't seen it yet, but it was awesome.

That kid is a total knockoff of Michael Cera though...LAME!

i was really surprised how much i liked it... i thought it was great!
that cameo is the BEST... one of my favorite actors.
i really don't understand why Michael Cera wasn't in it... it was totally written for him.
