the pics of the BP SQUADTS at the 'medium war' show totally exceed my expectations.
i'm blown away. i want want want... i absolutely love the bowler hat/tommy gun/pinstripe version.

Ok, so those online sales went crazy fast and full of unfortunate crashes and freezes. How can we, C&D members, insure some sort of window for purchase? I see coarse, threea and some others offering "memberships" or whatnot to give leeway for core fans to purchase limited items. Any ideas?

my girlfriend was asking why alot of the figures didnt have their helmets off at the show. it would have been nice to show off the detail on the copperhead squadt.

This would be awesome! We don't need any card like coarse, just an email sent out for C&D that'll let us buy before the mail bomb is sent out. Or post a buy now link in the restricted section before it hits the jamungo/playge site. Very Happy

i'm all into the membership idea
after talking one-on-one with Ferg he's definately an artist first and not focused on the money
i could see him reward members to offset any membership fees, just my opinion
plus the membership could also be used to help in reducing the flipper problem

i don't know, having a CAD membership in my wallet would be pretty cool...........
plus, there could be a new card issued evey year, think of the possibilities!!!!!!!!!!

i'm a little mixed on this idea. i mean of course i would like a way to guarantee i got every exit, but its almost borderline elitist. it's the whole, "i deserve it more than you" attitude that doesn't make sense. When i first started collecting and joined this board that type of atmosphere may have turned me off. it is actually one of the reasons i don't frequent the Circus Posterus boards. i know they don't have a system like this but i get an heir of superiority feeling from the regulars over there. yes, they may have been collecting for longer, but doesn't mean you are a bigger fan or more entitled to get a piece. so what if you are a dinosaur and have been around longer.

also, lurkers are sometimes just as big of collectors if not bigger collectors than some of the regular boardies. it shouldn't be a requirement to come here and talk to us losers just to be assured of getting a toy.

this may be easy for me to say because i've only missed one or two releases. but i didn't freak out, i just had to be patient and wait for them on the "black market." ok, maybe i freaked out a little.

i'm playing devil's advocate here, cuz of course i'd become a member.

yes, flippers suck, but elitists are right there with them. i should know, i am one. mad2

I don't think it should necessarily be an elitist thing.
But I wouldn't mind getting an email say.. 10 minutes early than the general public that would allow me to buy limit 1 of whatever toy is being offered. Not a subscription thing or anything like that, but maybe just a little head start Smile
