LOL.....didn't mean to initiate a list, but so be it. All in all it's up to FERG and what most fair for everyone. I see the points made about "elite" status or attitude, but I like others, have purchased EVERY single release since turned on to Jamungo(series 2 for me). I would be devastated if I missed out on an exclusive only to see it land in a flippers hand. I/we are fans of mainly FERG's work/art here. Collaborations with other popular artists such as BP will draw 2 to 4 times the traffic and demand of an item, plus attracting a slew of scumbag flippers. I am a member of "Coasetoys Family and Friends", I must admit that having the option of advanced sales on exclusives bring somewhat peace of mind to a collector. (I don't collect Coarse anymore, they lost me on the colorways & price). So all that being said....it would be great to see a sort of membership or something for us whom have purchased "X" amount of items directly from JAMUNGO/PLAYGE. This would not be limited to board members, since not all collectors are outspoken or even have time for forum BS.

Just my two cents, it's all up to the Admin.

Not all of us can afford a high ticket subscription , the buy "X" amount of items directly to acquire member status would rule.

Hey Man, I wish everything could be edition 10000 so that everyone who wants one can get one. Unfortunately I don't think Ferg's pockets are deep enough to support that business model (yet).

I don't think straight up subs are going to happen any time soon, if ever.

At least, that is the impression I got from Ferg every single other time this has been brought up since the last BUDscription. Anything we want, no matter how many lists we make or how long they get won't come to anything unless Ferg wants to do it.

It's just to do it the 3A way.
Sell first, then produce the sold amount.

This way there will be no leftovers lying around, every squadt deserves a home

that will make wait/ship times too long.

my skin crawled when i read that suggestion. no offence towards 3A/ash - i collect a lot of their stuff
but those turnaround times are just hellish.
i like the way you do it. of course one has to be on ones toes to get what one wants but what the heck....

All solutions have their pros and cons

Think the simplest is just adding a buy now link to the restricted section before it's added to the website. I'm glad ferg wouldn't want to do it the 3A route, 3A toys are awesome and well priced, but the wait time is soo killer. I had to basically forget I bought some AK figs so I wouldn't be pissed the estimated date was missed by a few months.

For a fun topic, if were talking toys/gift that might come with a jamungo sub, what would your top choice be?
1. Candy paint bud
2. random .50 squadt (no clothes/weapon or just t-shirt)
3. revolving bud tie Silver print on black
4. clear vinyl mini squadt

It's the simplest way as long as you are a CAD member.
However, there are probably hardcore Squadt collectors who are not CAD members.

A subscribtion would be great in many ways, the downside is probably the initial payment

I think you guys need to remember that flipping is a part of the world of collecting. It's the way it is. You can literally throw up every road block you can think of, but it is still going to happen. Flippers will jump through any hoops you can put up. You need to make your peace with that and walk away.

Coarse has a F&F membership, which is great. Of course, now that so many people have made it into the F&F it's just as difficult to get a figure as it was before. And remember, flippers buy figures, which means that they also have access to F&F cards. So it all falls apart after a while.

I loved the Budscription, it was great, but I think subs are probably a nightmare. People are always complaining and wanting their shit, and there are always delays and unforeseen issues and shipping problems and what not. It's just a hell of a lot of work.

In addition, if you take all the collectors out of the retail equation, then you lose the wholesale side of the business. If retailers buy your product, and then you sell all your product direct to your customers, then it doesn't sell as well through those retailers and they buy less or stop buying period.

Sold-out product creates buzz, and buzz creates new collectors. Flippers contribute to this equation.

Just stuff to think about.
